An artistic group of FLC interns, the Aesthetic Activists, unveiled their visual representation of campus dining in Spring 2016. This permanent installation lives on the wall in the Student Union’s San Juan Dining Hall. A combination of student photography, chalk lexicon, graphic design, and three-dimensional elements walks viewers through the food system on campus. From student efforts to grow food in the campus garden to the role diners play with their food choices, the 30’ x 40’ installation strives to increase awareness of green, fair, and just food systems.
