Wells Group kicks off new initiative with $5,000 donation.

Double your donation with COSI

Governor John Hickenlooper talks about the Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative's matching student scholarships, and the impact throughout the state.

For a limited time you can double your donation to scholarships for deserving students in La Plata and Montezuma counties.

The Colorado Department of Higher Education is providing up to $69,000 in matching funds through their Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) grant. With your support we can raise up to $138,000 for our new Focus & Finish Program which provides scholarship, career and leadership development to help students complete their degrees and graduate work-force ready.

About our Focus & Finish Program

Our Focus & Finish Program provides scholarship money to first-time freshmen from La Plata and Montezuma counties who complete the program’s career and degree milestones each of the eight semesters they are in attendance. The program provides direction in:

  • Leadership and career development
  • Success coaching
  • Degree-planning
  • Job search services

The services will improve our students’ career readiness, academic achievement, and on-time graduation rates.
