The new Geosciences, Physics & Engineering Hall will host state-of-the-sciences research spaces for three of Fort Lewis College’s most dynamic and popular programs. Slated to open in Fall 2016, the $35-million addition to campus represents decade-long efforts by FLC officials, faculty, and area legislators, backed by generous donors and supporters.
In GPE Hall, FLC's undergraduate researchers will have access to top-quality laboratories and electronics equipment, field tools, optical technologies, and specialized testing and research facilities. A rooftop research observatory will also offer the Durango community a chance to share the exploration of our region's clear dark skies.
