Escalante Hall is a gender inclusive hall that contains both traditional housing and suite-style living options. The building has a large, furnished, centrally located lounge that includes a pool table, television, and microwave. A community computer lab is located off of the lounge. Laundry rooms are located in the basement. Bathrooms for traditional style rooms are located on each floor and are cleaned each weekday. Suite style bathrooms are connected to two rooms and are cleaned weekly.

Escalante’s gender inclusive community allows students to choose from gender inclusive or same sex room assignments, located randomly throughout the building. Residents also choose between designated men’s, women’s, or gender inclusive bathroom facilities. For more information about our Gender Inclusive Housing policy, please feel free to see our frequently asked questions page at www.fortlewis.edu/housing/GIH. For specific questions about Escalante Hall, please reach out to the Student Housing Office at 970-247-7503 or studenthousing@fortlewis.edu.
