Resource Management Certification
Today’s global economy continues to impact traditions and economies in the United States and abroad, making the management and preservation of cultural heritage an important matter of political concern around the world. The Cultural Resource Management Certificate program allows students and professionals to gain career-defining knowledge in the increasingly important field of Cultural Resource Management.
The CRM Certificate Program utilizes Fort Lewis College’s expertise and resources in anthropology, archaeology, American Indian and indigenous studies, environmental studies, geography, and museums. Students are trained in archaeological field and laboratory methods and cultural resource laws, complete elective classes on topics ranging from museums and critical heritage to geographic information systems (GIS), and apply this knowledge in internships or supervisory experience in the field.
