This lab is also equipped with a monitor shut-off switch by the door allowing the instructor to more effectively turn students attention away from non class related computer activities.

To Project the Computer
Turn ON the projector with the remote at the front of the classroom (located below the whiteboard.) If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up make sure the Projector Input Device in the cabinet next to the computer is ON and Computer is selected. For sound make sure the amplifier (in cabinet) is ON, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. 
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

To Project a DVD
Turn ON the projector with the remote at the front of the classroom (located below the whiteboard.) After logging onto the computer insert the DVD into the Disc drive and choose VLC from the list of DVD player programs.  If you don't see the computer image projected after the projector has warmed up make sure the Projector Input Device in the cabinet next to the computer is ON and Computer is selected. For sound make sure the amplifier (in cabinet) is ON, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Computer is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the computer. 
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.

Connecting a Laptop
Connect the spare monitor cord kept in the Laptop cable drawer of the cabinet to the laptop. Turn ON the projector with the switch at the front of the classroom (located below the whiteboard.) Select Laptop on the Projector Input Device in the cabinet next to the computer. For sound make sure the amplifier (in cabinet) is ON, the master volume turned up to around 7, and the volume control labeled Laptop is turned up. You may also need to adjust the volume controls on the laptop. 
To turn off the projector press the power button once and then again to confirm.
