FREE Earth Day Electric Vehicle (EV) Ride & Drive Plug It In! / Ponte Las Pilas! 9 AM to 3 PM at the La Plata Fairgrounds & Event Center and the Durango Community Recreation Center. 4CORE and the Monarca Group are collaborating this Earth Day to celebrate the power of electric transportation across cultures. This event is intentionally inclusive and equitable, with the goal of providing the attendee an environment that promotes, educates, and provides all the necessary elements that creates a seamless purchasing process to aid in EV ownership. The event will have electric vehicles on-hand for test driving as well as presentations on all things EVs, such as EV anxiety- “Addressing the Elephant in the Room'', “Ask an Expert,” available tax incentives and rebates, and info on EV charger installation. EV owners will also be there to answer questions. This is a family-friendly event with food trucks and activities.
