About Michael Bovée

Michael Bovée, the Technical Services Librarian at Reed Library, spent most of his youth in Albuquerque before moving to Denver in 2010 to study philosophy at Regis University. Although Michael primarily completed coursework pertaining to political philosophy and applied ethics while at Regis, his academic interests are broad and he continually strives to form a more inclusive, more comprehensive worldview.  Compelled by the idea that it would be a profession conducive to the lifelong pursuit of knowledge, Michael decided to become a librarian shortly after graduating from Regis and attained a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Denver in the spring of 2017. Besides formal learning, some of Michael’s interests are distance running, rock climbing, spending time in nature, and playing chess (poorly).
