Making space while sharing space

Everyone plays a part in safety while on campus. Masks are expected to be worn all the time, everywhere, and by anyone visiting campus. Stay at least six feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people at all times. Keeping space between you and others is one of the best tools we have to avoid being exposed to the COVID-19 virus and slowing its spread.

We suggest you stay out of crowded places and avoid mass gatherings. Group gatherings will be limited to the current guidance issued by the State, our local health department, or campus policies. When walking or traveling on campus, try to stay as far to the right as possible on walkways, hallways, and stairways. Travel single file to allow space for others to pass.

Modifications to facility spaces on campus

The amount of furniture in classrooms and common spaces has been reduced to accommodate physical distancing. We have added signage to provide directional guidance in crowded areas such as entranceways, stairwells and elevators.
