In the flurry of our campus response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve already begun to reflect on the incredible strength of our community and the individuals that call FLC home. Each of you has made heroic, heavy lifts as you navigate this situation. You are taking on huge responsibility in this global crisis, and our collective action to transition online for a couple weeks has incredible merit. It will save lives, truly.
We have a large team working on continuation plans for FLC operations and academics during this time. Our website (www.fortlewis.edu/coronavirus) is being updated often with important information and leadership will continue to send communication via email and social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
We’re seeing great response to the staffed phone line and email for questions related to the FLC COVID-19 response. Keep reaching out by calling 970-382-6919 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
As I mentioned yesterday, my favorite part of being president at FLC is the personal interactions I have with faculty, students, and staff. Do not hesitate to keep in touch or send me your questions personally.
