More than 50 students and their families attended this year's Native American College Day. This year, the College offered free lodging for the event to students and their families, thanks in part to the $63,000 gift from the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians based in southern California.
More than 80 middle and high schoolers from all over the region —including Dolores, Ignacio, and Dove Creek — gathered at FLC on February 20 to compete in the fair.
Hundreds of family members and friends attended FLC's Fall 2023 Commencement, which included the presentation of a Native American honor song by The Sawmill Singers.

With a game of Lotería, Latin food, a piñata and dazzling live performances by Mariachi Amigos de Nuevo México and Ballet Folklórico de Durango, Fort Lewis College celebrated the 30th Fiesta on the Mesa, launching this year's Hispanic Heritage Month.
Fort Lewis College’s overall enrollment grew by 1.9 percent compared to last year, with dual enrollment, graduate, and transfer students driving the growth.

"How has Career Services prepared my student for this ever-changing workforce?” As I was looking their student up in our employment platform, I told each of the parents that it is never too late to meet with Career Services, even if their student was graduating that day.
