About Madeline:
Madeline earned a degree in Environmental Studies at FLC. She worked as a horseback guide in the greater Yellowstone area for many seasons and most recently served veterans and the unhoused community of Durango as a residential advocate. In her free time, she can be found skiing, running, mountain biking, and enjoying the outdoors with her dog, Pumpkin.

About Alec:
Alec graduated with a degree in Adventure Education from Prescott College, an English for Secondary Education Post-BACC from FLC, and an MA degree in Western Classics from St. John’s College in Santa Fe. His career has been split between the outdoor industry and working as a middle school teacher in Durango, CO. He spends his free time climbing and playing the guitar, and he loves to hear a good story of adventures.

Evan is from an organic family farm in South Dakota. He graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Global Studies. He studied abroad in Guatemala where he worked on garden farms and learned Spanish. He has spent most of his career working with youth in mentorship roles and teaching outdoor education.

About Erika:
Erika was born and raised in Colorado and received her degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2012. Most recently, she served the Durango community as an early childhood educator. When Erika is not on campus, you can find her down by the river rafting, paddle boarding, or splashing around with her dogs. Erika also enjoys traveling, making art, and getting cozy with a good book.
