From navigating a new town to finding a reliable mechanic, you’ve got a lot on your plate during this transition into college life – not to mention carving out time for studies and a social life! To help make FLC feel a little more like your home away from home, you’re warmly invited to enroll in the Local Support Family Program, which provides you with your own family network to lean on for airport transportation, local advice, or simply a familiar face to share a meal with every now and then.

With the Local Support Family Program, you’ll enjoy the independence of living on campus but still reap the benefits of having a local family to call for resources. Apply for this complimentary Program by August 31st by completing the Student Application and keep an eye out for an email introduction to your host family.

To participate, complete the Student Application and you will be notified when you are matched with a host family.

If you are interested in becoming a host family, complete the Family Application and a steering committee member will contact you with more information.

If you have any questions, please contact the program liaison at, (970) 247-7573, or:
