Get Started

Are you ready to take the next steps?

Biology majors at Fort Lewis College practice their skills in the wild. You’ll have access to the state-of-the-art undergraduate study laboratory, but you also can conduct field-based exercises and research on the nearby U.S. Forest Service, BLM, and Colorado Parks & Wildlife lands. You’ll get graduate-school level research and field opportunities, and you can present your findings at conferences and competitions. And by graduation, you’ll be qualified for advanced studies and a range of specialized careers.

  • Undergraduate Independent Study Laboratory – Conduct your own independent research in our thousand-square-foot lab. The lab is outfitted with instrumentation necessary for cellular and molecular biology research.
