Early Childhood Education majors analyze children’s learning styles to develop their own teaching strategies. You’ll teach and assess reading, writing, math, science, and social studies from pre-K through third grade. You’ll get to explore the cultural aspects of youth, schools, and communities. You’ll log more than a thousand hours in the classroom with your mentor. You can teach in the Durango area, in your hometown, and overseas.
By graduation, you can step immediately into any early childhood program, school, or grade anywhere in the country.
