Internships are a step in the process to applying what you learned in college to a job or volunteer service. They help you build communication in fields that will apply to later uses. The following link will provide answers about what an internship is.

Applicants for this will need to be:
Integrated Optics for Undergraduate Native Americans (IOU-NA) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU). IOU-NA students will participate in Native American focused workshops facilitated by University of Arizona's Native American-serving entities, gain hands-on experience, attend presentations given by Native American STEM graduates, and participate in other activities designed to support Native American Undergraduate students.
Is your major physics or STEM related? Than check and find if these internships are for you.
Science Education and Workforce Development Programs at ORNL. Available to undergraduates, recent graduates, and post graduates. Most opportunities require a GPA of 2.5 or higher, range from between 8-52 weeks, depending on the opportunity, and be a U.S. citizen.
For undergraduate juniors and seniors in Health science research. This focuses on provinding Native American students with laboratory or clinically based research alongside world class research faculty. No previous research experience is required.
