Fall 2015 - New Student and Family Orientation: August 27th - 29th, 2015

The purpose of New Student and Family Orientation is to support new members of the Fort Lewis College in their transitional year.

We recognize that going to college is a new chapter in the lives of students, parents, relatives and friends. We want you to know that we are here to ease the transition.  Our staff receive specialized training and our programs are designed to ensure that all participants have the opportunity and knowledge to navigate the transition in the most successful way.

It is our pleasure to help and direct you, answer your questions, address your concerns, and learn from you. We believe that orientation is a process, not merely an event. With that in mind, we are your hosts and guides for this next stage in your journey to a successful academic experience.

In addition to programs for new freshmen, transfer students, and family members, we provide special programs for students with disabilities, veterans, honors students, Native American students, and other students of color. Click on the “Special Programs” link to the left to learn more.

A detailed schedule for Fall 2015 will be available in late June!

Fort Lewis College is committed to all programs being accessible.  If you are attending orientation and need accommodations, please contact the Disability Services Office, 970-247-7383, by 8/20/15.
