New Student and Family Orientation for the Fall 2019 semester will be Thursday, August 29th through Saturday, August 31st, 2019. Students are automatically registered for New Student Orientation when they register for classes with an Advisor.
Detailed schedule will be available on July 1st, 2019.
The orientation program for new freshman students is planned with your specific needs in mind.
New students are organized in small groups and have a Student Orientation Leader to guide them throughout the process. While some of the programming is facilitated with multiple groups together, this small group aspect is real bonus for those first few days on campus.
There are a few programs in which parents/family members will be in the same session with you. There are other programs where you will be with the other students in your group and your leader.
Participation in all new student orientation programs is an expectation of the Fort Lewis College Administration. It is mandatory and critical to your academic success.
Welcome to Fort Lewis College, you have made a great choice!
All new students at Fort Lewis College pay a Confirmation Fee that helps to fund New Student Orientation, so students do not pay anything at the time they arrive for Orientation.
Fort Lewis College is committed to all programs being accessible for individuals with disabilities. If you are attending orientation and need disability-related assistance or have questions, please contact the Disability Services Office at 970-247-7383.
