The orientation program for new freshmen students is planned with your specific needs in mind.
New freshmen are organized in small groups and have a Student Orientation Leader to guide them throughout the process. While some of the programming is facilitated with multiple groups together, this small group aspect is a real bonus for those first few days on campus.
There are a few programs in which your parents and family members will be in the same session with you, but most sessions will include only your small group and Student Orientation Leader.
Participation in all new student orientation programs is critical to your academic success and an expectation of the Fort Lewis College Administration.
Freshman Orientation will take place on Saturday, January 7th.Students are automatically registered for Orientation while family members have the option to attend our Family Orientation. Are you a student who will live on campus? Move-in will take place from 8:30-11:00am followed by Check-in for Orientation which takes place anytime between 11:00am-1:00pm.
