Start Strong with Summer Math Prep Camp 2016


Boost your math skills!

Want to get a jump on your mathematics classes? If you're a freshman or new transfer student majoring in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics field (STEM*), then we want to help you prepare for math success at Summer Math Prep Camp. If you are currently enrolled in Preparation for Algebra (Math 112), Algebra for Calculus (Math 113) or Pre-Calculus (Math 121) then you are the perfect candidate to get a Strong Start!

At Summer Math Prep Camp, you’ll get to work at your own pace, while getting personalized support from FLC professors and student tutors, ensuring you get the assistance you need. There will also be optional coaching in effective test-taking and time to meet with academic advisors.

*STEM is a commonly used acronym to describe Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Math Camp Registration is now closed.  Thank you for your interest!

There will be a registration fee of $100 to hold your place. Freshman students will be able to check-in early to their residence hall where they will be living for the next year. Transfer students may stay off-campus. A three meals-per-day dining hall plan is included for all students, regardless of if they are staying off or on campus.
