How to be a Sustainability Super Star!
Wednesday March, 20 from 12 noon – 1pm
Senate Chambers, Student Union 163
Lunch not provided, but feel free to bring your own
St. Patty’s may be over, but you can still be as green as ever! In this engaging one hour workshop, Environmental Center Assistant Coordinator, Marty Pool, will provide a brief overview of principles of sustainability and a review of some of the commitments and values we hold here at FLC. We’ll then take a deep and interactive dive into all the ways you can become an FLC sustainability super star and answer all of those burning questions you’ve had – Does composting actually make a difference? How can I decrease my FLC carbon footprint? Where can I have the biggest impact? Is foil actually recyclable? Together, we’ll also brainstorm ways that you can step beyond just your own personal actions to help your department or program become a model of sustainability at FLC and in our greater community!
