Department of Political Science
The study of Political Science is concerned with the relationship between the governed and the government, the nature of the political process, and the role of the citizen in a democratic society.
Students majoring in political science are required to complete 39 Liberal Arts Core credits, 36 Specific Departmental credits, 16 Departmental Elective credits, and other free electives. Click here to view the complete program requirements.

Pre-law is coordinator by one of the political science faculty, Dr. Michael Dichio. Students minoring in pre-law are required 21 credits of which 12 must be discrete classes just for the minor.
