Career Profile: Jack has thirty years of experience teaching in public schools, colleges and universities, including adjunct associate professor positions at The Johns Hopkins University, the University of Connecticut, Central Connecticut State University, DeVry University Keller Graduate School of Management and the University of Phoenix’s MBA Program.
While working on his doctorate, he spent three years practicing psychotherapy as an intern with Kaplan Associates in Chevy Chase, MD.
He spent five years as Director of Corporate Training and Organizational Development for Waverly Press, Baltimore, MD. At that time, Waverly Press was the largest printer and publisher of Medical Journals in the country.
His career journeys also put him in senior management positions running golf facilities for the PGA Tour and Cobblestone Golf Group. His last stop in the golf industry was Atlanta, GA. His responsibilities included running five golf courses with 210 employees, 22 direct reports and an operating budget of $9,000,000.
After taking an early retirement in 1996, he founded Morrison Consulting, a business consulting firm specializing in executive coaching, change management, conflict mediation, team building and communications training. Morrison Consulting is now based in Durango.
Other: During the winter Jack is a PSIA Ski Instructor at Purgatory and he is proud to say two of his more accomplished students are Professional Associates members.
