Tom Skurky - Detailed Bio

Tom Skurky is a developmental clinical psychologist with special interests in European social theory, non-quantitative research methods, systemic approaches to psychotherapy, ecosystemic psychology, and multicultural perspectives in psychology. His graduate research culminated in a dissertation investigating the psychological assessment of abilities in Hispanic and Anglo children. As a Clinical and Teaching Fellow, Dr. Skurky specialized in marital and family therapy and health psychology. In addition to national presentations on family therapy, his recent professional activities include the writing of two books: The levels of analysis paradigm, published by Praeger, and Beyond psychology: A unification theory for a science of humanity, which is presently in process.
