Registrar's Office - Summer Grading

Summer 2018 Grading

The Registrar’s Office will automatically turn on grading five times throughout the summer for faculty. If the grading periods below, don’t work for your particular course then you can contact me ( and I will turn on grading for your specific course at the time needed.

Faculty must file grades by Monday, August 20, 2018 but are encouraged to file grades as soon as possible after the end of the course.  The only exception to this requirement will be for the restricted number of courses with instructional time in the seventeenth week. Faculty of these courses must file grades by Saturday, August 25, 2018 of the seventeenth week.

  • ALL GRADES ARE DUE PROMPTLY BY 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 20, 2018.  After this time, you will need to submit individual grade change forms for each student.  Please complete your grading on time!  If you don’t, this results in incorrect information for the students and causes Financial Aid, housing, academic standing and other issues.
  • Don't forget to submit grades for your independent study and non-scheduled courses.
  • Grade changes from previous terms must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office on grade change forms. Please remember that if a grade change is being submitted for a grade that is more than one year old, the grade change form must be signed by the appropriate Dean. If this step is omitted, processing time can be increased by up to two weeks.
  • Remember that you may no longer give a student an “I” grade in WebOPUS. The request for an “I” grade must be student initiated.  The policy, instructions, and form for an “I” grade are here:  Incomplete Grade Request Form

If you are having any trouble entering your grades, have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to contact me (Theresa Rodriguez), Registrar, at 382-6983 or
