Join the Four Corners Water Center, SEEDS, and other campus partners for a film screening of the documentary Water for Life. This film tells the story of three extraordinary individuals: Berta Cáceres, a leader of the Lenca people in Honduras; Francisco Pineda, a subsistence farmer in El Salvador; and Alberto Curamil, an Indigenous Mapuche leader in Chile, all of whom refused to let government-supported industry and transnational corporations take their water and redirect it to mining, hydroelectric projects or large-scale agriculture.

Description: To get excited for the upcoming Snowdown events, come play board games and make some new friends across campus! We'll be playing games, eating food, and having a good time with our awesome staff. Just bring yourself - food and drinks are on us!

This is a showcase of faculty who have ethical relationships with Native Nations. They will share best practices in an in formal panel discussion. Lunch provided, must pre-register.

Join us at 6pm for a Catholic Mass and free community dinner afterwards (provided graciously by D urango Catholic Daughters). Local priests from St. Columba, Sacred Heart, and more will be presiding this year. All are welcome, even if it's just for dinner! (usually served around 7-7:15 pm)
