Teacher Education Department
This program will build your proficiency in reading, writing, math, social studies and science content preparation and give you hands-on experience teaching students in those content areas in Kindergarten through 6th grades. After completing all the program requirements, you will graduate with a B.A. in Elementary Education and obtain your Colorado Elementary Education License.
Your first step will be to meet with an Admission Counselor. Once accepted as a freshman, talk to a Teacher Education department advisor as soon as you can. Review the course catalog and four year map so you can plan to take the right courses at the right time.
