The Composition Research Forum is a biannual student research presentation that began in the Spring 2012 semester as the Celebration of Student Writing. The Forum allows FLC writing students to engage in challenging and exciting academic discourse with our campus and community. Participating CO-2 students showcase their research findings through displays, presentations, activities, video, and demonstrations. Participating CO-1 students research the various types of writing on display and interview the authors/rhetors to better understand the writing processes expected in our CO-2 classes.
The event is free to the public, and community members, especially area educators, are encouraged to attend and see what FLC writing students are doing.
