Skyhawks men's basketball team setting records

The Skyhawks men's basketball team ended a record-setting season in the NCAA II Round of 32. The Skyhawks set season marks for: highest national ranking (#4), most wins in a regular season (24), most wins in a season (28), best record at home (17-0), and longest winning streak (16 games). They also won the RMAC Tournament and the regular season title.

This season also marked the transition at head coach from Bob Hofman, who served the year as Coach Emeritus, to former Skyhawks basketball player and assistant coach Bob Pietrack. The National Association of Basketball Coaches named Pietrack the South Central Region Coach of the Year. He was also named a finalist for the 2016 Red Auerbach College Coach of the Year Award.
