The Gallery at Fort Lewis College will welcome artist Justin D’Onofrio for Chroma Coves, a solo exhibition featuring new and earlier works.
Chroma Coves brings together a series of intimate, color-focused alcoves that pair ceramic vessels with wall works, drawing inspiration from landscapes and shifting qualities of light. Across the exhibition, D’Onofrio explores repetition and variation, industrial and earthen tones, and the use of clay as both a material and a container of place. The paired works invite viewers to consider space, color and perception through immersive, contemplative environments.
The exhibition will be on view at The Gallery at Fort Lewis College. An artist talk will take place Wednesday, January 28, 3:30-4:30 pm, Lyceum Auditorium, Center of Southwest Studies. The Opening Reception will be Thursday, January 29, 4:30 – 6pm.
Both events are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served at the opening reception.
