Andrew Althage, Brynn Seitzman, Victoria Barber, Will Morrison (B.A. Art, Graphic Design, 2014) and Morningstar Tapia (B.A. Art, Graphic Design, 2014) received merits for their works in the Graphis New Talent Annual 2015. Althage had two pieces accepted.

The students’ pieces were as follows:

Each year, Graphis hosts the New Talent competition, inviting students from around the world to enter works jointly with a professor. The Graphis publication and website is viewed by international corporate and professional audiences.

Althage and Seitzman completed their projects under the guidance of assistant professor Shawn Meek, while Barber, Morrison and Tapia were mentored by associate professor and head of the Graphic Design program, Paul Booth.

“Our students who received merit awards from Graphis are very talented and deserve this recognition for their work,” says Meek. “This puts Fort Lewis College’s Graphic Design program on the map, and we are honored and excited.”

Fort Lewis College was the only Colorado college or university to have students selected for the Graphis New Talent Annual 2015. This is the first year that Fort Lewis students have been awarded this honor from Graphis. View the students’ work in the Graphis online portfolio.
