Emily Houghton, assistant professor of Exercise Science, published an essay on sexism in cycling for the Engaging Sports section of The Society Pages, titled "Podium Girls: Time to End the Tradition."

FLC's Marketing & Communications department won three medals in the Collegiate Advertising Awards: gold for a new logo for the Native American Center, gold for a video about the Native American Center, and silver for a set of admission materials.
