Alumnus Patrick Succo (Chemistry and Biology, '13), a veterinary student at Colorado State University, is part of a veterinary outreach program to teach essential animal care to high schoolers in the Navajo Nation.

FLC will be offering a Computer Engineering degree beginning Fall 2017, once approval is granted by the Colorado Commission of Higher Education.

Alumna Dabney Meachum (Political Science, '16) and senior Psychology major MeKayla Smith were featured in an article on the effectiveness of Black Student Unions in Your Black Education.

Alumnus Schuyler van Englenberg (Chemistry, '05), assistant professor of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Denver, was just named to the prestigious 2016 Class of Boettcher Investigators in the Webb-Waring Biomedical Awards. He will receive a $235,000 grant to support up to three years of biomedical research.
