Durango was named one of America's Favorite Towns by Travel + Leisure magazine.

Chad Colby, professor of Art, has been awarded an artist residency from Wyoming's Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts, giving him the opportunity to focus on current projects in an environment that combines artists from different genres including music, literary, and the visual arts. 

Natalie Joe (Biology, '16) was profiled for her research on uranium-caused cancer. She is heading to Johns Hopkins School of Medicine this fall to begin graduate work.

Andrew Gulliford, professor of History and Environmental Studies, was awarded the "Mi Casita" Writing Residency in New Mexico by the Aldo Leopold Foundation.
