Kerry Ginger, visiting professor of Music, was a part of two recording projects nominated for 2016 Grammy Awards: The Phoenix Chorale and True Concord.

Tino Sonora, professor of Economics and director of the Office of Business & Economic Research, contributed the economic overview for La Plata County in the University of Colorado's 2016 Colorado Economic Outlook report, including the assessment that August's Gold King Mine spill likely won’t have a long-term economic impact on the region.
