Students of William Nollet, assistant professor of Engineering, get unique opportunities to apply their classroom knowledge at AMPT, a local aeroscape rocket testing facility.

Emily Shirtz, a Junior Graphic Design major, won Grand Champion of AIGA Design Slam competition on October 23 in Lakewood, Colorado.

Freshman Marketing major Amelia Thomas took first place in the Young Native Writers Essay Contest for her essay. She won a $2,500 scholarship and an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C., where she will be awarded her honor at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian.

Senior History major and women’s golfer Jessica Thulson won the individual title at the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Invitational.
