Vote Real apples As part of the Environmental Center's Vote Real program, a campus-wide survey determined that apples are the next preferred "real" food. From this point forward, apples served in the dining hall will be local and organic. Vote Real is a program unique to FLC that has engaged an average of 14% of campus in food democracy, thus far shifting $25K annually into local food markets.
