Fort Lewis College will host John Foley on August 3, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. in the Student Union Ballroom for a Business Leadership Breakfast.  John will discuss activating high performance in his leadership experience talk and share his framework and philosophy. John enables leaders to achieve potential by sharing a mindset of positivity, gratitude, possibility and purposefulness. John's inspiration is supported by a methodology and process he learned with the Blue Angels, helping organizations develop leaders, lead effective change and accelerate personal, team and organizational performance.

"I am excited to visit Durango to spend time with and hopefully impact the Four Corners’ business leaders. I am also extremely honored to be part of efforts in creating awareness and funding for the Jeff Kuss Memorial Scholarship at FLC,” stated John Foley.

“Thank you to the Durango Chamber of Commerce, La Plata Economic Development Alliance, Farmington Chamber of Commerce and Four Corners Economic Development for joining with Fort Lewis College in bringing Mr. Foley to campus and helping us honor the legacy of one of our very special alumni, Marine Captain Jeff Kuss,” said Dene Thomas, president of Fort Lewis College.

“The Durango Chamber of Commerce is honored to partner with Fort Lewis College and the Alliance to host John Foley,” added Jack Llewellyn, executive director of the Durango Chamber of Commerce. “John is one of the top 10 international speakers, so I know attendees will be engaged and I guarantee they will gain perspectives and information that can be applied to their personal as well as business lives. In addition, the strong brotherhood to the Blue Angels will provide insights to the dedication of Capt. Jeff Kuss and the Blue Angel team.”

Tickets for the event are $50 per person through July 31, $60 afterwards, and are available www.durangoconcerts.com. 100% of the ticket proceeds will go to the Fort Lewis College Jeff Kuss Memorial Scholarship. The Jeff Kuss Memorial Scholarship was founded by Jeff’s family through the Fort Lewis College Foundation. Capt. Kuss graduated from FLC in 2006 with a degree in economics from the School of Business Administration.
