The White House’s “Champions of Change” award recognizes how one voice really can shape the world. This July, a Fort Lewis College alumna received this honor for being an extraordinary agent of change in the classroom.

Taziwa, a Zimbabwe native, has accumulated many achievements during his time at Fort Lewis College, from earning his bachelor's degree in Engineering in just three and a half years, to landing his first job during his last semester.
