Student Organizations

There are more than 60 student-run organizations, ranging from the Associated Students of FLC to the Pinheads Telemark Club to the Westerner's Club.

• Academic clubs, groups, and honor societies include the American Indian Science and Engineering Society, Beta Alpha Psi (the accounting and finance honor society), and chapters of AIGA (the professional association for design) and the National Association for Music Education.
• Service-based organizations include Engineers Without Borders, Teachers Without Borders, and Sociology Club.
• The Terry R. Bacon Leadership Center, offers resources, assistance, and guidance to student clubs and organizations.

  • Benefits Members can borrow equipment to outfit almost any outdoor adventure. OP also offers guided trips, clinics, and use of an indoor climbing wall.

  • On top of the world Summit expeditions to Kilimanjaro (Africa), Denali (North America) Aconcagua (South America), Elbrus (Europe)

Residential Options

• Student housing offers six residence halls and two apartment buildings, with singles, doubles, and suites.
• Animas Hall Our newest residence hall features suites with private rooms that include a mini-fridge, microwave, and an LCD television. There is also a computer lab and a live-in Faculty-in-Residence.
• Living Learning Communities are an exciting way to connect with students who share your interests.
• Campus amenities include the Student Life Center, an indoor pool, an expanded and remodeled Student Union, and access to an extensive trail system for mountain biking, running, and hiking.
