Excellence across disciplines. Impact across communities.

Life-Long Learning Lecture Series for Spring 2026

Professional Associates (PA) is a dedicated group of leaders, educators, scientists, and community professionals who bring real-world expertise to strengthen Fort Lewis College. PA members serve as advisors and mentors collaborating with students and faculty, community leaders engaging with regional nonprofits and civic organizations, and institutional partners supporting strategic planning and college development. Through learning initiatives, mentorship, student support, and community engagement, PA enriches academic life and opens new opportunities for students, faculty, and the Four Corners region.

What we do

Professional Associates supports FLC through four signature programs. The Life-Long Learning lecture series brings free Thursday evening talks to campus each fall and spring, connecting community members with expert perspectives across disciplines. PA scholarships award up to six renewable scholarships annually through the FLC Foundation, providing direct financial support for students. Faculty partnerships engage members across seven disciplines to enhance teaching through class visits, mentoring, and professional insights. The FLC Family Connection pairs new students with local families and community members, fostering belonging and successful integration into college life.
