Emotional well-being
The life of a student is stressful. For many students, this is coupled with the challenge of entering adulthood. At FLC, you can access a variety of supports to maintain your emotional well-being, or course correct as needed.
Health Center
Stay healthy, or get the medical treatment to regain your health, at the student Health Center. Located in Skyhawk Station, we are available to treat non-emergent medical concerns, such as STI testing, immunizations, physical exams, blood work, and more.
Police & emergency
Learning only occurs in a safe environment. To support this, many FLC offices work together to oversee an emergency preparedness plan, and Campus Police actively support your safety on campus so you can focus on your education and being with your community.
The best things we can do for our health and safety are the things we do ourselves: staying active, generating a positive sense of self, and being part of a community.
Let off some steam playing intramural soccer, in a pickup basketball game, or pumping iron at the gym in that muscle shirt you secretly want to wear. Your membership to the Student Life Center is included with student fees, so jump in!
Get out and explore your backyard. We are surrounded by wilderness that people travel great distances to come to. Outdoor Pursuits can help you get outside with gear, community, and even guided trips.
Whether you're exploring your gender or sexual identity, or can leverage your own journey to support another's, the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center (aka the G Spot) is a safe place to be within the LGBTTQ+ community.
