If you have earned a Bachelor’s Degree, you may apply to enter any one of our Post-Baccalaureate Licensure programs. Although the post-baccalaureate does not offer a degree, its course work will qualify you to apply for a Colorado teaching license.
The time to complete the Post-Baccalaureate Licensure program varies. It depends on the program chosen and the number of courses accepted from the student’s undergraduate curriculum.
For a complete list of program requirements please review the course catalog.
There are several paths to put your bachelor's degree toward a teaching license in Colorado. In addition to this post-baccalaureate program, we offer a Master in Education program. And if a school district has already hired you, you may be eligible for our alternative certification route.
To best support you in finding your route, we encourage you to contact the School of Education's Associate Dean, Kristine Greer for advising.
