Through Fort Lewis College's inaugural Indigenous Policy Institute, students joined peers from Colorado State University and Adams State University to engage directly with the legislative process this Spring. They met with the Lt. Governor, Dianne Primavera, connected with the Colorado Commission on Indian Affairs, and built relationships with State-Tribal Liaisons.
