New scholarship program offered to Navajo students studying health sciences President Begaye and FLC President Tom Stritikus signed an agreement that provides $2,500 per student, per term. The agreement also establishes a partnership between FLC and the Office of Navajo Nation Scholarship and Financial Assistance (ONNSFA), which will distribute and monitor the funds.

First National Bank of Durango donates $100,000 The First National Bank of Durango and the Fitzgerald family recently gave a $100,000 gift to Fort Lewis College. The donation is in recognition of the board of directors of the bank, which was recently sold to TBK Bank, SSB. The First National Bank of Durango had a long association with FLC, and the gift has already impacted students and campus is a positive way.
