Building Building # Gross Square Feet Type
Skyhawk Station 7 21,250 Auxiliary  1957

Part of the original campus.  Initially built as the Student Center which housed the cafeteria for the 6 dormitory buildings.  James M. Hunter, the architect of the Durango campus, followed the philosophy of "organic architecture," the idea that buildings must be responsive to their time and place. He designed the Student Center to showcase the campus' spectacular views of the La Plata Mountains
