The Diversity Collaborative will be hosting our Fall 2024 SafeZone LGBTQ+ Allyship training! Each of the 3 sections will be 1 hour, attending one session of each part is required for SafeZone certification. This training is intended for those who would like to be a safe person for the LGBTQ+ community and should not be made mandatory. Description: Join FLC and El Centro de Muchos Colores as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on Thursday, September 19th from 4:00-8:00pm Our Annual Fiesta on the Mesa will include performances by Ballet Folklórico de Durango, Mariachi Amigos de Nuevo Mexico, a few rounds of Lotería (hosted by Club del Centro) and a wonderful dinner from San Juan Dining. Join us for QPR to learn valuable skills to equip you with the power to prevent suicide. QPR stands for Question, Persuade & Refer and is an emergency response training for someone in crisis. Attendees will learn warning signs of suicide, how to offer hope and how to get help and save a life. Please register for the training ahead of time using this link .
