Merit Scholarships

Fort Lewis College Merit Scholarships
Fall 2026 & Spring 2027

We automatically award Merit Scholarships during admission based on high school GPA. These scholarships range from $2,000 to $8,000 and can be renewed for up to four years.

International students receive the same amounts as out-of-state students.

Students must maintain their Academic Standing (minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA) to renew scholarships for up to four years unless otherwise noted.

*Colorado Scholars must maintain a 3.0 GPA at FLC to renew the additional $3,000 scholarship for up to four years.

You can also receive a Merit Scholarship through the New Mexico Reciprocal Scholarship or the Western Undergraduate Exchange Scholarship. Merit scholarships cannot be combined.

Students must have applied to FLC by January 1, to be considered. After January 1, students can still be considered for the Presidential or Provost Scholarship, or WUE.
