The inaugural Four Corners Climate Summit, a full-day event aimed at fostering awareness and unity around regional climate interests and building resilience to climate change, had more than 400 attendees.
For the last ten years, Environmental Sciences at FLC have been experiencing the growing pains of a new program, including sharing space with other units and not having a place to call home.
The three professorships will provide recipients with funding for high-impact, community-based projects. Liz Cartier, Tomasz Miaskiewicz, and Ivan G. Guardiola are the appointed faculty members.
