The Indigenous Society of Psychologists (ISP) is a student chapter of the Society of Indian Psychologists (SIP) ultimately striving to represent Indigenous psychologists by raising awareness and advocating for the mental well-being of Indigenous peoples. ISP is a student organization upholding the intention of creating supportive relationships that provide a network within the professional field of Psychology; our members work together to raise awareness of various mental health conditions and factors that impact Indigenous communities. As students of Fort Lewis College, we are provided with educational resources needed to further our scholarly advancement and our overall understanding of the wide-ranging field of Psychology, and our communal support gives students the professional apparatus necessary to become successful leaders."
