Spanish Hour

Are you interested in practicing your conversational Spanish skills? Come to Spanish Hour at El Centro de Muchos Colores (Student Union Room 40) every Wednesday from 11am-12pm. This is a free event. Open to FLC students, staff, faculty and community members. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and apple cider provided! Nos vemos en El Centro.

Reach Durango gathers students for fellowship, worship, and a teaching from the Bible. It is a free event that provides dinner for students!

Bring your old out of style clothes to this event and swap with others to find new styles! Each person wishing to attend should bring a few clothing items they no longer wear, please make sure they are washed and in good condition. There will also be a clothing donation bin and information on how to fix and upcycle your clothes!

Ballet Folklorico de Durango is a cultural arts program promoting Hispanic culture and welcoming students of all ages and backgrounds to learn and perform traditional Mexican Folklore dances. El Centro de Muchos Colores Hispano Resource Center provides the dance space and offers free classes for FLC students. Opportunities for mentorship and leadership include travel and attendance at a professional Folklorico dance
